  • We love modern comforts! This is not a camping or backpacking trip! We prioritize everyone having their own bed, and do our best to find places that allow everyone to spread out. Our lodging will always have heating/air conditioning, indoor plumbing, running water, full bathrooms, etc. If you have a specific lodging need, please reach out using the email below or include that information in the trip preference form.

For everyone’s safety, we only share exact location and photos with confirmed attendees.

  • This trip is rated as easy-moderate. The beach and rainforest hikes are all on flat (though still unpaved/uneven) ground. The mountain hikes will involve elevation gain of 1000-1500 ft, but is a great opportunity to try new and exciting challenges!

Do not expect paved trails, and please prioritize incline treadmill walks or stair climber workouts to make sure you enjoy your hikes!

A full hike list will be published to confirmed attendees only for everyone's safety.

  • Once your trip deposit is paid, you will receive a Trip Agreement form welcome email from Katie.

As we get closer to the trip, you will be added to a pre-trip group chat with the other hikers and your hosts! We will also schedule one-on-one video calls with everyone to get to know you and answer any remaining questions.

  • During scheduled group hikes, we ask that you stay with the group. Your host will have recommendations for additional hikes that you can take if you choose to add extra personal time to your trip!

  • Your safety on this trip is really important to us. We do not share itinerary information or lodging information with anyone outside of confirmed and paid attendees.

We do not post location or hike information on social media in real time.

As a part of your Trip Intake Form you will be sharing your Emergency Contact information. This information will only be used for emergencies.

During the trip, your host will review emergency preparedness plans for your lodging, hikes, and quick hiker first aid.

Your hosts are CPR/First Aid certified.
