Yosemite National Park is consistently ranked as a top visited park- and for good reason. The valley shows off classic features like flowing rivers and El Cap, while the highlands show off the unique beauty of higher elevations. This is your best chance of a bear sighting of all the 2026 trips!

  • North-central California. We will plan to fly into Sacramento, California and drive ~2.5 hours to our destination.

    You are always welcome to drive if you live within driving distance!

  • Thursday August 6- Monday August 10, 2026

  • $2050 USD for shared spaces

    $2350 USD for a solo room (limited availability)

    25% of the trip cost is due as a non-refundable deposit at time of book. The remaining balance is split into 3 payments that can be started at any time, but are due at least one month before the trip.

  • Your trip cost covers:

    -Lodging for the trip duration with your own bed in a shared space- think lodge style homes. This particular house is on a lake with a dock, kayaks, and a hot tub!

    -Meals planned, prepped, and prepared including 4 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, and snacks galore!

    -TBD excursion

    -All park entrance fees and required permits.

    -Complete expert hiking and activity itinerary curated to maximize our time and see as much as possible. You don’t have to think about or plan a single thing!

    -Transportation during the weekend, including airport pick up.

    -Packing and travel guide. To avoid any confusion or under-packing you’ll receive a detailed PDF of everything you’ll need or want to pack for a comfortable and safe trip.

    -Exclusive HGH trip merch with additional goodies!

    Your trip cost does not cover:

    -Flights

    -One dinner we will eat out at a local restaurant

    -Additional national park merch in gift shops, visitor centers, etc.

    -Optional coffee, snacks, or other food purchased on the road

  • Plan to arrive on Thursday September 17th around late morning. Exact time needed to arrive by is TBD and will be communicated via email.

    You are always welcome to arrive early or stay later with your own accommodations, and we will work to help get you where you need to be!

  • We love modern comforts! This is not a camping or backpacking trip! We prioritize everyone having their own bed, and do our best to find places that allow everyone to spread out. Our lodging will always have heating/air conditioning, indoor plumbing, running water, full bathrooms, etc. If you have a specific lodging need, please reach out using the email below or include that information in the trip preference form.

    For everyone’s safety, we only share exact location and photos with confirmed attendees.

  • This trip is rated as moderate-advanced. We will hike some trail that are 5+ miles with possibly more than 1500 ft of elevation gain. Do not let this scare you though! We take plenty of breaks and plan for lots of pictures and stops.

    Do not expect paved trails, and please prioritize incline treadmill walks or stair climber workouts to make sure you enjoy your hikes!

    A full hike list will be published to confirmed attendees only for everyone's safety.

  • Once your trip deposit is paid, you will receive a Trip Agreement form welcome email from Katie.

    As we get closer to the trip, you will be added to a pre-trip group chat with the other hikers and your hosts! We will also schedule one-on-one video calls with everyone to get to know you and answer any remaining questions.

  • During scheduled group hikes, we ask that you stay with the group. Your host will have recommendations for additional hikes that you can take if you choose to add extra personal time to your trip!

  • Your safety on this trip is really important to us. We do not share itinerary information or lodging information with anyone outside of confirmed and paid attendees.

    We do not post location or hike information on social media in real time.

    As a part of your Trip Intake Form you will be sharing your Emergency Contact information. This information will only be used for emergencies.

    During the trip, your host will review emergency preparedness plans for your lodging, hikes, and quick hiker first aid.

    Your hosts are CPR/First Aid certified.

    5. Thou shalt appreciate each hike for what it offers.

    8. Thou shalt not shame others for creating content on the trail.

    9. Thou shalt promise to push through and try difficult things.

    10. Thou shalt not gatekeep- tips, gear, advice.
